Does Winter Wheat Yield Response to Fungicide Application Depend on Nitrogen Management?

چکیده
Nitrogen and fungicide are among the more important management tools to increase wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) grain yield in Kansas. However, there is limited information on whether hard red winter impacted by interaction of nitrogen rates foliar application. Thus, our objective was evaluate effects different N with or without a application at Feekes 10.5 two genotypes contrasting disease resistances leaf stripe rust. Eleven field experiments were established across Kansas using factorial structure options (either no 13 fl oz Nexicor per acre), five (0, 30, 60, 90, 120 pounds (Larry Zenda) split-split plot design during 2021–2022 growing season. There significant between genotype environment where Larry out-yielded Zenda anywhere from 3.1 15 bu/a. rate environment, likely due initial soil NO3-N potential, as ranged less than 34 81 Increases fractions canopy cover response fertilization explained about 29% 15% increases yield, respectively. slightly greater crop supply increased, nearly null difference low much 5.9% for total 160.7 lb N/a. In dry conditions minimal incidence, availability differed each but only marginal fungicide.

Growth Response of Winter Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and Wild Barley (Hordeum spontaneum Koch) to Nitrogen
A greenhouse study was conducted to investigate the effects of nitrogen (N) on wild barley (Hordeum spontaneum Koch) interference with winter wheat (Triticum aestivum var. Pishtaz) by an additive series experiment. The experiment was conducted in a split plot design with 3 replications. Wheat plant height losses were on average 30, 10, and 10% in a wild barley density of 16 plants per pot with ...

The most important photosynthesis acceptor – leaf area vary among cultivation measures and it is limited factor for creating exact growth models in common winter wheat. The objective of this study was to investigate changes of leaf area index (LAI) affected by agricultural treatments – 4 sowing rates and 9 nitrogen treatments based on fertilising rates, target values based on soil mineral nitro...
متن کاملGenetic Basis for Variation in Wheat Grain Yield in Response to Varying Nitrogen Application
Nitrogen (N) is a major nutrient needed to attain optimal grain yield (GY) in all environments. Nitrogen fertilisers represent a significant production cost, in both monetary and environmental terms. Developing genotypes capable of taking up N early during development while limiting biomass production after establishment and showing high N-use efficiency (NUE) would be economically beneficial. ...
متن کاملPeanut Yield Response to Conservation Tillage, Winter Cover Crop, Peanut Cultivar, and Fungicide Applications
Strip tillage with various crop covers in peanut (Arachis hypogaea, L.) production has not shown a clear yield advantage over conventional tillage, but has been found to reduce yield losses from some diseases. This study was conducted to determine pod yield and disease incidence between two tillage practices, five winter cover crops, three peanut cultivars, and three fungicide programs. Convent...
